I went to install the front wheel on my road bike after taking it out of the back of my car. The thru-axle just kept spinning and would not tighten. After some futzing, I got to tighten to a ‘safe’ level.
And eight miles later, then I suffered a front puncture. Found the blasted thorn and replaced the tube. We continued along taking it easy. Want to know how to keep it easy enough and stay in zone, have mechanical issues.
Once back and loading up I found a goathead sticker in the front again!
